Picked up Sims 3 yesterday and got a good 3 hour session in on it. Put me and my wife in a full furnished 1 br/1 ba and we're working on skillups so we can make mad money before starting a family. Can't wait to see what'll happen when we have kids. All my ambitions involve being charismatic and throwing killer parties.

hmm I might need to stop and pick up a copy on my way home from work... But the first two stole many years of life from my soul, I dunno if I could survive a 3rd.

Heh. The way I see this game. You'll be forgetting about your life and planning your virtual one. Am curious about what add ons will eventually come out, cos you KNOW they will be coming next.

I bought Sims 3 for one of my friends for her baby shower. :D (I know, I know. Not a baby item but, you know, mommy needs things to help her relax. Oh, my, do I remember those first months after giving birth!) She received it, yesterday, and now I'm all jealous. I want a copy too!

It was a no-brainer, really. She has Sims 2 and all of the expansions, so I knew she'd love it. She's probably going to play the bejeebers out of it until the baby is born!

But yeah. will agree it was a no brainer. I suffer from the collecting habit (got all of The Sims, from 1st to last... my coffers weep openly)
